Police Log: Willowgate Rise Man Threatens Neighbors
Selected items from the Holliston Police Log for Aug. 5-7.
Friday, Aug. 5
4:31 p.m.: Police received multiple 911 calls about a Willowgate Rise man threatening neighbors and claiming he had a knife. Though the man didn’t, in fact, have a knife, HPD obtained a Section 12 (emergency restraint and hospitalization of a person posing a risk of harm by reason of mental illness) and arranged for the man to be transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
8:10 p.m.: Police investigated a report of youths setting off “sparklers” on Woodland Street. The fireworks were confiscated and the youths were told to move along.
Saturday, Aug. 6
5:47 p.m.: Police initiated a motor vehicle stop at Charles Street and Washington Street. A criminal application was issued to the driver for multiple charges. The occupants of the car were then driven to a house on Washington Street.
Sunday, Aug. 7
2:50 p.m.: Police investigated a report of vandalism on Winthrop Street. The homeowner was reporting a broken window.
