Police Log: Two Placed in Protective Custody

Selected items from the Holliston Police Log for July 11.

 

Monday, July 11

9:05 a.m.: Police initiated a motor vehicle stop at Union and Central Street. The driver was summonsed for driving with a revoked registration.

5:31 p.m.: Police responded to a family problem on Fiske Street. A mother reported that her son was drunk and she wanted him removed from the house. The son was placed into protective custody.

8:36 p.m.: Police received a complaint from an Ashland Street resident of howling dogs. The caller reported that the dogs were caged in the woods. Police spoke to the animal control officer, who is working on the problem.

10:58 p.m.: Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Adams Street. The caller said that a white man who was wearing a dark tank top and shorts and carrying a backpack was standing at the end of the caller’s driveway when he came home. The suspect then started walking toward Hopkinton. Police caught up to the suspect was caught and placed him into protective custody.
