Holliston Man Airlifted Following Hanlon Road Motorcycle Crash
The 47-year-old Holliston resident was airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston at 3:43 this afternoon.
A 47-year-old Holliston man was airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital following a motorcycle crash on Hanlon Road this afternoon.
At 2:51 p.m., Holliston Fire Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy/EMS Supervisor Jim Moore, the ambulance, paramedics from Events EMS and the police responded to a report of an injured motorcycle driver on Hanlon Road.
After arriving on the scene and assessing the man's condition, HFD requested a helicopter transport to a trauma center at 2:57 p.m. At 3:21 p.m., the helicopter (Boston MedFlight 1) landed at Kampersal Field on South Street, which had been secured by Weekend Duty Officers Captain Michael Curnyn and Lieutenant Dan Moulton and Engine 4.
The ambulance arrived at Kampersal Field from Hanlon Road eight minutes later before the MedFlight lifted off at 3:43 p.m. to go Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
